SAP ABAP Developer

Responsibilities: • Works as a technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks. Contributes to design for specific deliverables and assists in the development of technical solutions. • Participate as part of a team and maintains good relationships with team members and customers. Understands DXC strategy and the role that the individual plays. • Uses knowledge tools and reuses information for the benefit of projects, and of professional development. Mandatory Skills Description: Education and Experience Required: 6 years of technical experience SAP ABAP development and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study. o A Computer or Industrial Engineer Bachelor or equivalent Degree. o ABAP Programming and software development knowledge (Reports, ALV, Function Modules, Classes, ABAP proxy). o HANA DB o Enhancements, User exits, BADI o OO Programming o Debugging and program performance tuning. o Has sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the implementation of a specific deliverable. Able to contribute to the design for deliverables. Has ability to perform/drive resolution of problems on individual products. o Demonstrates understanding of assigned discipline or technical area. Demonstrate fundamental technical knowledge. o ITIL Process knowledge (a plus) Customer Service experience. o Experience leading projects from technical perspective. o Strong research and troubleshooting skills. o Strong experience with customers in different locations. o English (at least 85%).
