This is a fully remote position ideal for professionals who are passionate about robust server-side applications, containerized environments, and secure, scalable infrastructures. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain backend services for digital payment platforms • Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker • Ensure high availability and performance of applications on Linux servers • Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to ensure compliance and scalability • Maintain and extend legacy components written in PERL • Write clean, modular, well-documented code primarily in Node.js and optionally in PERL • Troubleshoot production issues and support system operations in a live environment Place: Full Remote Requirements: • Proven experience in backend development for high-availability systems • Strong knowledge of Docker and container orchestration best practices • Proficiency in managing and debugging Linux-based servers • Solid experience with Node.js • Familiarity or working experience with PERL (a strong plus) • Experience with RESTful APIs, logging frameworks, and automated testing • Basic knowledge of security and compliance requirements in digital payments (PCI-DSS is a plus) What we offer: • An employment contract commensurate with your profile • Responsibility and growth opportunities • Flexible and dynamic environment • International environment Brain Technologies is an Italian engineering company founded in Turin in 2008 by a group of people passionate about technology and innovation.
