General Accountant sp Location: Monterrey, Mexico Work Style: Hybrid (3 days in office) Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking a General Accountant to join our finance team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a global leader in industrial innovation and digital reality solutions What You’ll Do: • Perform daily accounting activities including AR, billing, collections, and cash application. • Maintain financial records • Ensuring that financial records match bank statements and other records. • Support month-end close and reporting activities. • Resolve customer disputes and manage unapplied payments. • Maintain organized documentation for AR transactions. • Ensuring compliance, Adhering to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other accounting regulations. • Analyzing financial data to identify trends, costs, and returns on investments, supporting informed decision making. • Process and post journal entries and cost invoices and credit notes within the agreed timeframe, maintaining high service quality and efficiency. • Reconcile Balance sheet accounts • Assisting with the preparation and filing of tax returns. • Assist in audit preparation and internal control compliance. • Support system enhancements and workflow automation Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline. • 3 years of experience in GL environment, preferably in a multinational company. • Strong knowledge and understanding of the month-end, reporting and year-end processes and regulations in the US and Canada markets. • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP preferred). • Advanced Excel proficiency. • Strong attention to detail and organization. • Advanced English
