Winner Recruitment are currently working with an Innovative growing Service provider who focus on hard services within the Facilities management sector across commercial and retail sector. They are looking to recruit for a AC Engineer to perform a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance and servicing across commercial and retail sites. The work will consist of maintaining a variety of AC systems including servicing of Splits, VRV, and AHU. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and demonstrate proficiency in using various tools and equipment, in various working sectors. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all work complies with relevant regulations and standards. Roles & Responsibilities: As an AC engineer you will be the main engineer working across a variety of sites throughout Bristol and surrounding areas such as Taunton, Bridgwater, Gloucester, Cardiff, Swindon, Salisbury, Glastonbury as well as others performing planned and reactive maintenance, servicing of AC systems You will carry out regular inspections to identify potential issues before they become serious problems, including checking for leaks, blockages, or wear and tear on components. As an AC engineer you will repair and replace aspects such as belts and filter changes As an Ac engineer you will Maintain accurate records of service performed and equipment status (FGAS etc). You will occasionally assist with basic plumbing tasks where required, so knowledge of hot & cold-water systems is advantageous. As an AC engineer you will support our installation teams when required with commissioning, and any guidance regarding legislation from a commercial gas perspective. You will help with quoting remedial works and providing reports for follow-up tasks in a detailed manner. You will work in line with Health and safety, working closely with other engineers and subcontractors when needed. As an AC engineer you will be part of the on call rota (1 in 6) Candidate: As an AC engineer you must hold the relevant qualifications such as NVQ in AC (or equivalent) & Fgas It would be advantageous if the relevant candidate had manufacturer training desirable, notably: Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, Panasonic – advantageous but not essential You must be client facing and have great written and communication skills Benefits: Generous overtime rates, including time-and-a-half and double time A fully expensed company vehicle, with the option for private use.
