Job Description

Copello have partnered with an established Engineering business in the recruitment of a Requirements Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role is based out of Whiteley but flexible for hybrid working. The Requirements Manager plays a key role within the Systems Engineering team, supporting current and future service designs. The role involves close collaboration across teams and the Asset Delivery Programme to ensure effective requirements management throughout the system lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Define, manage, and maintain requirements baseline, including contractual changes Oversee the decomposition and allocation of system requirements across the business Develop and maintain the Requirements Strategy and ensure full traceability Manage Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) and V&V evidence in DOORS Support change impact assessments and contract negotiations Provide regular metrics on requirements acceptance progress Act as a DOORS expert, offering training and guidance company-wide Essential Skills & Experience: Engineering degree or equivalent qualification Experience managing requirements in real-time, safety-critical environments Strong knowledge of DOORS, including DXL scripting and IT support structures Background in systems engineering and V&V processes Proven track record on complex, multi-site programmes Desirable Skills & Experience: Familiarity with Air Traffic Management or regulated environments Experience developing DOORS processes and data structures Knowledge of Def Stan 00-972 and CAP 670 This role offers a salary of up to £70K benefits.
