Assistant Accountant

An expanding local company is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, within a finance team of 8 staff, this is an excellent opportunity to develop in an Assistant Accountant role. You will be responsible for assisting the Financial Controller with the preparation of the monthly management accounts as well as overseeing the day-to-day ledger work. This role will involve reporting, reconciliation, budget monitoring, variance analysis, stock management and general accounting duties. The role is 37.5 hours per week and office based in West Hull, with free parking.
