Business Analyst

The business analyst is responsible for extracting requirements from customers by using interviews, document analysis, onsite visits, business process descriptions and referencing case scenarios. In addition, this role needs to: Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders at all levels to analyze needs and business requirements Produce the following artifacts as needed: ◦ Functional Requirements ◦ Use Cases ◦ Diagrams ◦ UI Prototypes ◦ API calls documentation Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously Work independently with stakeholders to define concepts, review specifications, solicit feedback, gather requirements, and obtain approval for specifications Work under the direction of Product Owners and/or under the direction of project managers as needed Work with customer to analyze support issues Skills & Abilities: You thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand, and scaling atmosphere Detail-oriented You are a thinker and problem-solver You’re a Team Player with the ability to work independently You have excellent time-management skills and very organized You have great interpersonal and communication skills You take initiative and have the willingness to go above & beyond You are goal oriented and work hard to reach every goal Education & Experience: Associates or Bachelor's Degree in computer management or similar degree Working Knowledge of Microsoft Suite Experience working in a “Start-Up” environment is a plus To ensure that we find the best fit for this critical role, we require candidates to undergo a test as part of our selection process.
