A Design Release Engineer (DRE) owns the technical development of specific components in this case, metallic brackets within interior systems like seat structures, instrument panels, or center consoles. You're the bridge between CAD design, manufacturing, suppliers, and program timing. It’s a hands-on engineering role with real product impact. What You'll Do: Support or lead the design, validation, and release of metallic brackets for interior systems (seat frames, IP support, reinforcements, etc.) 3D/2D modeling using CATIA V5 Work closely with manufacturing, validation, materials, quality, and purchasing to ensure part feasibility Generate and manage drawings, BOMs, ECRs , and technical documentation ( PPAP, APQP ) Coordinate with Tier 1 suppliers to track feasibility, timing, cost, and technical changes Who We're Looking For: We are actively hiring junior engineers (1 years) with growth potential, and also open to reviewing mid/senior candidates with direct experience. Key qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering Experience using CATIA V5 Exposure to metallic components or structural parts Understanding of GD&T, APQP, PPAP, DFMEA Comfort working with suppliers or in a production-focused environment Ability to read and generate technical documentation and support engineering changes Strong problem-solving and communication skills Functional English for technical discussions Bonus Points If You Have: Internship or full-time experience in automotive OEM or Tier 1 Familiarity with Teamcenter, NX, Catia Participation in FSAE, Baja SAE , or technical university projects Exposure to cost or weight reduction initiatives Worked with suppliers like Faurecia, Magna, Gestamp, Martinrea, or Benteler This is a ground-floor opportunity to grow inside a high-impact OEM program.
