INTRODUCTION: Cross Border Xpress "CBX" is the most exciting and innovative trans-border project ever built between two countries and a true symbol of binational collaboration and innovation between the USA and Mexico. It functions as a secondary airport for the City of San Diego. The Cross Border Xpress represents a substantial private investment in public infrastructure and serves as an economic engine for the Tijuana-San Diego region. CBX is an enclosed pedestrian sky bridge that spans across the U.S.-Mexico border, connecting a passenger building in San Diego directly to the Tijuana International Airport (TIJ). Cross Border Xpress provides direct, secure access for nearly 4.2 million TIJ passengers per year who previously crossed the border at congested ports of entry in San Ysidro and Otay Mesa, which endured unpredictable wait times and lengthy delays. TIJ offers flights to more than 35 destinations with greater frequency to interior Mexico than airports in Southern California and, two direct China destinations. Requires bilingual Spanish-English at Business Conversational level The Company will provide relocation and moving expenses Monthly Base salary (before Taxes) between $100,000 and 120,000 pesos, depending on expertise and experience level. Primary Purpose of the Position The purpose of this position is to define and execute a strategic vision to grow CBX’s business lines and develop new business opportunities and/or products and services that are financially profitable, sustainable, increase the company’s value proposition, and create value for shareholders. This role also involves updating CBX’s Master Plan to keep it accurate, relevant, and aligned with changes in the business environment. Essential Job Functions · Develops a strategic plan (Commercial, Financial, and Operational) to initiate or evolve business lines as identified by the company’s executive committee. Creates and leads the corresponding working plan(s) to execute these plans. · Develops and executes a plan (Commercial, Financial, and Operational) to develop and implement core and/or ancillary products and to fully integrate them into our sales and operational processes and environments until they reach a sustainable level of maturity. · Develops an annual revenue budget for new revenue streams, business lines, and/or products. · Creates a process to monitor the business environment and consumer trends to identify new opportunities that the company should undertake or risks to mitigate. · In charge of the CBX Master Plan development, updating, adjustments, and signaling the decision milestones that trigger the initiation of CapEx planning and investing. The CBX Master Plan updates are coordinated with the FP&A, CRO, and CEO. · Manages the selection process and engagement of consultants and/or 3rd party experts recruited by CBX to conduct strategic projects and initiatives. MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: Professional Experience · Proven record in the development of new products, services, or lines of business and fully integrating them into a company’s operational environment. · Ample experience developing Pro-Formas to support the decision-making process associated with the development of new products, lines of business, and revenue streams. · Ample experience managing complex projects and programs involving multiple internal and external stakeholders and functions using a best-in-class project/program methodologies and applications. · Proficient in managing consultants and external advisors. · Experience developing financial business cases and creating commercial and operational plans. Skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Excellent analytical skills, transforming complex data into easy-to-understand ideas or actions. · Proficient in the preparation and analysis of financial statements. · Proficiency with computer software, including MS Office and Order Management System. · Highly proficient in all forms of communication in Spanish and English.
