Job Description
Position Overview: The QSHE Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's QSHE management systems to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards. This role involves leading initiatives to promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility across all levels of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Management System Implementation: Develop and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) encompassingISO14001, ISO9001 and ISO 45001, and HACCP, and other relevant standards. Performance Monitoring: Establish and track QSHE performance indicators; prepare and present regular reports to senior management. Incident Management: Lead investigations into QSHE incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Training and Development: Design and deliver QSHE training programs to employees; ensure ongoing education on safety, quality, and environmental practices. Audits and Inspections: Coordinate internal and external audits; ensure compliance with QSHE standards and identify areas for improvement Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations; ensure organizational adherence to applicable QSHE requirements. Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement through Lean management and process optimization initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to enhance QSHE performance and compliance. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10 years in QSHE management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Certifications: Proficiency in ISO14001, ISO9001 and ISO 45001, and HACCP; additional certifications in Lean or Six Sigma are advantageous. Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills; ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects. Travel: Willingness to travel as required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in logistics, supply chain management, or other highly regulated industries. Knowledge of additional ISO standards and industry-specific regulations.
