HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician

Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer. Due to the expansion of their fleet, they now have an opportunity for an experienced HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Engineer / HGV Fitter to join them on a permanent basis. This position is based at Low Marnham, near Newark. Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, Days/Afters shift: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm Pay rate: £20.08 (for skilled workers) Shift bonuses for Afters shift 100% MOT pass rate bonuses Overtime paid at time and a quarter (£25.10 per hour). PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA: City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in the Repair and Servicing of HGVs You are an experienced HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Engineer / HGV Fitter Have good communication skills and show attention to detail in all aspects of inspection, repair and testing documentation You drive and have your own transportation Responsibilities: You will be fully competent in conducting HGV / Trailer safety inspections and MOT preparation to achieve VOSA compliance. You will have a strong grounding in HGV electrical and hydraulic systems. Able to achieve timely completion of tasks and give accurate updates whilst remaining focused and calm under pressure. Keeping detailed records of repairs, inspections, and testing.
