Job Description

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: Public Sector Loan Facility Advisory for the Maritsa East Complex and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project. Location: Bulgaria. Duration: The intended start date is July 2025 (the “ Start Date ”) and the period of implementation of the Assignment will be 20 months from this date (the “ Period of Implementation ”). Key Expert: Environmental & Social Impact Specialist (Cat. II) ☝️ Qualifications and skills: At least a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or Environmental Engineering ( minimum requirement ). Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English ( minimum requirement ). Proficiency in GIS and environmental impact modelling tools will be considered an asset . ☝️ General professional experience: At least 10 years of professional experience in environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA) for energy and industrial projects ( minimum requirement ). ☝️ Specific professional experience: Expertise in EU environmental regulations, permitting, and impact mitigation strategies will be considered will be considered an asset . Experience conducting Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA) and EIA compliance assessments for renewable energy and industrial projects will be considered an asset .
