ETAG Leader / Senior Just Transition Advisor (Cat. I)

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: Public Sector Loan Facility Advisory for the Maritsa East Complex and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project. Location: Bulgaria. Duration: The intended start date is July 2025 (the “ Start Date ”) and the period of implementation of the Assignment will be 20 months from this date (the “ Period of Implementation ”). Key Expert: ETAG Leader / Senior Just Transition Advisor (Cat. I) ☝️ Qualifications and skills: At least a Bachelor’s degree in Energy Policy, Public Administration, or Economics ( minimum requirement ). Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English ( minimum requirement ). ☝️ General professional experience: At least 15 years of experience in energy transition planning and public sector advisory ( minimum requirement ). ☝️ Specific professional experience: Proven track record in advising government institutions on energy transition strategies, stakeholder coordination, and institutional capacity building, as demonstrated in at least three projects ( minimum requirement ). Experience leading large-scale just transition projects and energy sector policy reforms will be considered an asset . Experience in structuring and implementing financing mechanisms for energy transition, including EU and multilateral funding instruments (e.g., JTF, PSLF, RePowerEU, RRF, or similar mechanisms) will be considered an asset .
