Cloud Infrastructure System Engineer

Job Opportunity: Cloud Engineer in Data Center & AI/ML Location: Lecco, Italy We are seeking a Cloud Engineer for a leading Italian company in IT & Infrastructure Services for Consumer, Enterprise, and Business sectors. The candidate will be part of the Data Center Department and the Engineering Team , focusing on designing and implementing Cloud architectures with large-scale ML and AI systems and applications . Main Responsibilities: Design high-performance, scalable system architectures suitable for AI and machine learning applications. Monitor and optimize system performance, develop monitoring solutions, and ensure the deployment and operation of machine learning models. Collaborate with other departments to translate their needs into requirements and propose new use cases and applications for AI systems. Ensure compliance with security requirements and handle diagnostics and troubleshooting. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Practical experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). Proven experience as a System Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on scalable infrastructures. Deep understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack). Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Good command of English language. We offer direct employment with the client company at one of the Group's locations.
