(SA-TECH) is a progressive and well-established Department of Defense (DoD) contractor specializing in Range operations and maintenance (O weapons testing; facilities management; aerial, ground and seaborne targets O technical, logistics and other engineering support; systems integration; electronics and communications maintenance services; and a growing cybersecurity business. At Eglin Air Force Base, SA-TECH provides Range support services including Marine Operations O&M, O&M and engineering support for all remote-controlled Foreign Military Equipment (FME) land targets and sea targets, as well as O&M for Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and associated range instrumentation systems. We also provide Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) as well as management oversight, design, integration, installation and pre- and post-test operations. SA-TECH conducts concurrent land operations on Eglin Test and Training Range and seaborne operations in the Eglin Gulf Test and Training Range (EGTTR), plus deployed training missions outside of ECTTR along the Texas coastline and in the Key West, FL vicinity, keeping EW, communication and instrumentation systems, and land and marine targets and support vessels operational to meet a demanding mission operations tempo. SA-TECH is currently looking to hire a Supply Technician at Eglin AFB to perform limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. Assignments require: 1. A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines. 2. An understanding of the needs of the organization serviced. 3. An analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines. This position supports operational objectives and duties include (but may not be limited to: Observe company quality, safety, environmental, security and administrative policies; supports process improvement. Perform supply management with material pick up. Inspection, delivery, inventory management, storage, cataloging and utilization reporting related to depot, local and other supply activities. Work is segregated by commodity area or function and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity or responsibility. Assignments relate to stable or narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. Assignments require a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manual, or other established guidelines an understanding the customer’s needs. Perform logistics support for projects and facilities maintenance (e.g., inventory management), provide recommendations to PM/TOM on material and equipment requisitions required for specific task orders, storage management, and cataloging, and recommend property disposal. Update and revise Inventory Control Management System inventories including existing and future project assets inventory, property inventory, material safety data sheets log, generate annual inventory. Understand ordering and receiving via commercial and/or government logistics systems. Maintain a library consisting of technical manuals, product directories/catalogs, and historical records for existing and future project assets inventory. Perform as a member of the logistics work team on test site and carry out functions as directed. Provide recommendations to the Supply Technician/TOM on actions to further streamline existing processes. Must understand inventory procedures, procurement regulations, source of supplies and product availability. Must possess a working knowledge of trade policies, safety regulations, practices, and procedures for HAZMAT operations. Work Conditions: Conditions will vary as work will be performed both indoors and outdoors in all seasons. Outdoor duties may be performed on shore or afloat and on even or uneven surfaces, which may be dry or wet. Duties will include 45% standing, 25% walking, 20% sitting, 5% reaching, and 5% lifting. Requires the ability to work in a seaborne environment with some shift work at remote locations with occasional over-night assignments. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted. Travel to remote working locations may be required and routine deployments on support and target vessels may also be required. Overtime required at times to support mission objectives. Small boat handling skills is a plus. Comfortable in an open water environment offshore. Not prone to seasickness and can swim. Requirements: Education and Other: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in the above-mentioned duties HAZMAT & 463L pallet qualifications highly desired Computer skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required Attention to detail. Small boat-handling skills are a plus. Comfortable in an open water environment offshore; not prone to seasickness and can swim. US Driver’s License required; must be insurable through our Company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours for as long as you are employed. US Citizenship required. Must obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to hire date and clearance must be maintained throughout employment. All candidates will be required to pass a consumer report and/or consumer investigation to include SSN, Driver Record and Criminal Background Investigation. Must pass pre-employment physical to include: Drug Screen, Vision & Hearing testing, Medical Condition Certification and Back X-ray.
