Technical Project Manager – AI Oxford – 2 days onsite (travel fully paid for from London) A world-class research and development organisation is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-impact AI projects. Focused on solving global challenges across sectors like healthcare, sustainability, and clean energy, this is a rare opportunity to work on meaningful innovation at scale. You’ll play a central role in bringing complex AI projects to life – from early scoping through to final deployment – working across interdisciplinary teams including AI Scientists, MLOps, Engineers, and Product. Key responsibilities: Lead end-to-end project delivery of AI programmes, ensuring clear structure, defined timelines and risk mitigation. Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, keeping teams aligned and moving forward. Design, implement and manage Jira workflows, dashboards, and custom automations – including tool integrations such as Jira-to-Slack. Produce real-time dashboards and reporting tools for project tracking, stakeholder visibility, and executive decision-making. Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to maintain strong alignment across teams. What you'll bring: Proven experience delivering complex technical projects in AI-focused or tech-driven environments. Advanced skills in Jira administration, including configuration, custom workflows, dashboards and reporting. Demonstrated success in managing multi-disciplinary teams and balancing competing priorities under pressure. Clear understanding of AI development cycles and familiarity with data, ML, or engineering workflows. Experience working within fast-paced, agile environments – ideally in start-ups or scale-ups. Domain experience in healthcare, energy, or sustainability is highly advantageous. This role is based in Oxford with a hybrid working model. Salaries are base bonus, they pay extremely well & discuss packages on a case-by-case basis (they are not confined to typical UK wage structures).
