What You’ll Be Doing As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of design across a broad range of infrastructure and treatment projects. You’ll work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver mechanical engineering solutions that are efficient, sustainable, and aligned with regulatory and operational standards. Your responsibilities will include: Developing mechanical designs from initial concept through to detailed design Ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and environmental requirements Supporting project delivery teams with technical input across planning and execution stages Mentoring and developing junior engineers within the discipline Driving innovation and continuous improvement across mechanical design standards Collaborating with internal stakeholders and delivery partners to ensure successful outcomes What You’ll Bring We’re looking for a forward-thinking, practical engineer with a collaborative mindset and a strong foundation in mechanical design. You’ll also bring: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Chartered status or working towards (e.g., IMechE) Demonstrable experience in the design of infrastructure or treatment assets (e.g., pumping stations, process plant) Knowledge of mechanical design tools and relevant industry standards The ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to tight deadlines A proactive, solutions-focused approach and excellent communication skills What’s In It For You?
