Job Title: Sea Export Operator Location: Hamburg, Germany Salary: Up to €60,000 per annum (depending on experience) A reputable midsized freight forwarder is currently seeking an experienced Sea Export Operator to join their operations team based in Hamburg. Key Responsibilities: Managed the end-to-end coordination of sea export shipments, from booking to final delivery. Prepared and reviewed all necessary export documentation, including Bills of Lading, customs declarations, and commercial invoices. Maintained regular communication with shipping lines, overseas agents, and customers to ensure smooth cargo movement. Monitored shipments to proactively resolve delays or issues and provided status updates to clients. Ensured compliance with international trade regulations and company procedures. Handled data entry and updates within internal TMS and external platforms. Collaborated closely with internal departments such as sales, customer service, and finance. Profile: Demonstrated experience in sea export operations within the freight forwarding industry. Strong knowledge of Incoterms, export documentation, and customs procedures. Proficient in using freight forwarding software and MS Office applications. Excellent organizational and communication skills. German fluency is required; English proficiency is essential for international coordination. A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with a customer-first approach.
