EU Sales Manager – Furniture Industry Salary: From €75,000 – €90,000 per annum DOE company benefits Location: WFH Travel Across Europe Required Working Pattern: Monday to Friday The Opportunity Our client is a well-established UK-based, family-run manufacturer renowned for producing high-quality, innovative and sustainable pocket spring systems. With a strong reputation for excellence and a culture that blends hard work with collaboration and enjoyment, they are looking to expand their international commercial footprint across Europe. As part of this growth, they are seeking an experienced and self-driven Sales Manager to join their European sales team. The role will focus on developing and managing sales across the mattress, furniture and transportation seating sectors, working closely with OEM manufacturers and suppliers throughout Continental Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing client relationships, identifying new opportunities within the region and driving sales performance in line with strategic targets. This is a WFH / field-based position requiring regular travel across Europe and candidates must be permanently based within the Continental European region. Key Responsibilities Proactively manage a portfolio of accounts across the region, nurturing relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at all levels Identify and develop new business opportunities within relevant sectors (mattress, furniture, transport seating and aviation etc) Deliver against agreed sales targets, KPIs and business development objectives, with a focus on revenue growth and market expansion Collaborate closely with internal departments including marketing, operations and product development to deliver a cohesive customer experience Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows and customer meetings, presenting product innovations and sustainability initiatives Provide detailed product training and demonstrations to customers, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the product range and manufacturing capabilities Support and expand the network of regional agents and distributors where appropriate. Key Requirements: Proven track record in a B2B technical or solution-based sales role, ideally within the mattress, furniture, or transport seating industries Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility across a range of cultures and business environments Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider commercial team Self-motivated and resilient, with a goal-oriented mindset and the drive to exceed expectations Must be based within Continental Europe and hold a full, valid driving licence Fluent in English (additional European languages would be advantageous).
