Finance & Controlling Specialist (Software / SaaS Industry) About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and proactive Finance & Controlling Specialist to join a dynamic unit responsible for developing and selling proprietary software products across international markets. This role combines operational finance, reporting, and stakeholder management within a complex, multinational structure. You will act as the key point of contact for all finance and invoicing matters, ensuring compliance with internal policies and international standards, particularly related to transfer pricing , correct tax treatment , and invoice accuracy . Your work will directly support the effectiveness of our SaaS business model and contribute to informed decision-making at the executive level. Here are some of the things you can look forward to: Develop and lead finance and controlling activities tailored to software and subscription business models. Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and the Board. Analyze monthly profit & loss and cash flow statements. Coordinate monthly reporting with international subsidiaries, providing support on compliance and correctness of entries. Ensure accurate invoicing by acting as a contact point for business units and stakeholders—clarifying tax jurisdiction, VAT treatment, and revenue recognition. Monitor adherence to transfer pricing policies, verifying correct application across entities. Validate and release invoices in SAP (including CO, SD, PS modules). Participate in global finance initiatives such as SAP BI optimization, document management system rollout, and intercompany alignment. Provide guidance to stakeholders from various functions, demonstrating strong communication and business acumen. Identify root causes of cost misallocations and work with teams to ensure accurate reporting. Qualifications: Proven experience in finance, accounting, or controlling within the software industry, preferably SaaS or subscription models. Strong knowledge of SAP modules (CO, PS, SD, BI) and ERP/reporting tools. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills. Fluent English (C1 level) – both written and spoken, with experience interacting with top management. Ability to work in an international, collaborative environment.
