Sourcing Specialist

Join to apply for the Sourcing Specialist role at Champion Europe Group . Based in our office in Carpi (MO), we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing sourcing projects, analyzing material and garment costs, negotiating with suppliers, and driving continuous improvement in sourcing processes. You'll work closely with suppliers to optimize performance, explore new market opportunities, and contribute to innovation. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze cost breakdowns for materials and garments, ensuring accuracy and cost-effectiveness. Run cost simulations and perform "should-cost" analyses to evaluate pricing structures. Negotiate quotations with suppliers for both materials and garments to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards, securing favorable terms and conditions. Work with suppliers to improve performance, focusing on quality, delivery, and cost metrics, identifying areas for improvement. Develop and manage strong, long-term relationships with suppliers, regularly visiting suppliers to foster collaboration, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for growth. Research and identify new suppliers and explore opportunities in emerging countries or regions. Assess and mitigate risks associated with suppliers, including financial stability, supply chain vulnerabilities, and geopolitical factors. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 5-8 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain. Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
