We are seeking a Regional Environmental Engineer to oversee operations at Refel S.p.a. in San Vito al Tagliamento (PN), Italy, and other Italian plants. The ideal candidate should have: Degree in environmental engineering or equivalent 2-3 years of experience in similar roles within structured companies Knowledge of Legislative Decree 152/2006 (T.U.A.) Knowledge of environmental certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 14021, ISO 14025, ISO 14064) Understanding of Emission Trading Systems (ETS) Fluency in English and Italian Excellent Excel skills Knowledge of SAP (preferred) Residency in Udine or Pordenone area Job Responsibilities: Assist the Quality and Environment Manager in leading the environment management team to ensure compliance and operational efficiency at Italian plants. Review compliance needs, input environmental data into legal systems, and carry out corrective actions when necessary. Manage documentation related to environmental permits, certifications, sustainability, waste, emissions, energy, and reporting. Collect and review environmental data from sensors and other sources, taking appropriate actions. Provide operational input for environmental improvements based on customer and operational needs. Support environmental impact assessments and reporting activities. Respond to environmental emergencies following corporate protocols. Assist in corrective actions and performance improvement initiatives. Participate in environmental projects led by regional teams.
