As a vital member of the Logistics Dept, the Logistics Coordinator ensures the seamless execution of courier and seafreight shipments (both import and export), and more structured ‘RFQ / timeline & delivery’ work at operational level. We prioritize being a forward-thinking organization that invests in the professional development of our staff through effective workplace practices and thorough on-the-job training.Role DescriptionThe Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role, integrating operational and administrational duties while ensuring that goods reach their final destination safely and undamaged. Key responsibilities include the coordination and the execution / receiving of courier and seafreight shipments, preparing shipping documentation, effective monitoring of all loads “track & Trace” using Company’s platforms, managing transaction entries, and providing support to the logistics team. The role serves as the essential conduit between the suppliers or Chematek and the final clients, ensuring consistent timely delivery of products from execution to customer.Role Duties and Responsibilities (not exhaustive) Coordination and execution of courier shipments on National & European territories Coordination of seafreight shipments (import / export) Tracking the progress of shipments to ensure timely deliveries Perform JIRA freight tickets, enter and update data daily (training will be offered) Liaison with service providers for booking, space availability, IMO approval / acceptance Support to the Logistics team with general daily tasksCandidate Requirements Prior SEAFREIGHT EXPERIENCE (Import and / or Export) working as a Logistics Coordinator is a must! (2 year minimum required) Good Italian and English speaking and written skills Strong organizational and administrative qualities Good logistics planning Technical proficiency with systems- Ideally possessing prior experience using Logistics platforms such as CargoWise or others.
