Pre-Construction Project Manager

Job Description We are seeking a BIM Coordinator to manage and execute Building Information Modeling (BIM) tasks for complex projects. This role involves leading BIM coordination efforts, resolving clashes, and collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality results. As a self-starter, you will thrive in a dynamic environment, adapt to frequent changes, and contribute to the success of each project.Key Responsibilities Develop, manipulate, and maintain 3D models during preconstruction and construction phases. Lead clash detection and resolution efforts, documenting and tracking issues. Produce detailed drawings that meet project specifications and code requirements. Collaborate with project management teams to identify and resolve design challenges. Attend coordination meetings and provide project updates. Ensure designs optimize cost, safety, and efficiency. Support field teams by answering layout questions and providing guidance. Update project management systems and maintain accurate documentation. Mentor and support team members to enhance overall team capabilities. Required Qualifications 5 years of experience in BIM coordination. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including regulations and codes. Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360) and Trimble software/equipment. Familiarity with plumbing and NFPA codes. Understanding of construction processes, from preconstruction to final build. Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects. Detail-oriented approach to design and documentation. Preferred Skills Experience in optimizing piping layouts for efficiency and cost savings. Knowledge of fabrication processes and creating accurate drawings for production.
