Project Designer (HVAC/MEP)

Job Description We are seeking a Project Designer to join a growing MEP firm specializing in HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical design for commercial projects. This role is ideal for candidates with 1-7 years of experience in HVAC design using Revit and AutoCAD. The position offers hands-on training in Carrier HAP or Trane Trace calculations and food service design (Chipotle, Starbucks, etc.). The selected candidate will work onsite in Lakewood, CO, with the potential for a hybrid schedule after proving their capabilities. The role requires occasional travel (about 10%, typically one day every two weeks), primarily west of the Mississippi. Responsibilities: Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to design HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems for commercial buildings. Assist in calculating HVAC loads using Carrier HAP or Trane Trace (training provided). Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and clients to develop MEP system designs. Organize and maintain project documentation and drawings. Collaborate with food service and hospitality teams to develop efficient HVAC solutions. Conduct occasional site visits (travel required). Qualifications: ? Education: Associate's in Design or BSME (preferred but not required). ? Experience: 1-7 years in HVAC/MEP design (entry-level candidates with strong Revit skills considered). ? Software: Proficiency in Revit & AutoCAD required. ? Industry Knowledge: HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems. ? Communication: Strong written and verbal English skills. ?
