Highly stable firm (no layoffs in over 15 years) All work local to downtown/northern Milwaukee suburbs About Our Client My client is a highly respected builder in the Milwaukee area. While they have a diverse project portfolio of commercial and industrial projects, their largest sector at this moment is large scale multifamily projects. They are led by a team of non-family owners, that are heavily invested into the day to day success of their employees. At A Glance: Revenue: $120M/Year Self Perform: Carpentry, Demolition, and Concrete Markets Served: Multifamily, Industrial, Senior Living, Commercial Clients: Vast majority of work is negotiated with clients Headcount: 70 employees between field and office Job Description Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Review and interpret construction plans, ensuring alignment with client requirements and regulatory standards. Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report on construction schedule and budget performance. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues and ensure smooth project delivery. Ensure proper documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders, is maintained. Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff and subcontractors, promoting a productive and safe work environment. The Successful Applicant Extensive experience in multifamily construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale residential projects. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of multifamily construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications accurately. Expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and cost management to ensure timely, on-budget completion. Exceptional problem-solving skills to address challenges and resolve issues on-site efficiently. Proficient in using construction management software and tools for project tracking and reporting. Strong commitment to maintaining a safe, collaborative, and productive work environment on-site.
