As a Geography Teacher, You Will: * Develop and deliver a stimulating and comprehensive Geography curriculum to students across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach A-Level (KS5) for a suitable Geography Teacher. * Inspire students' curiosity about the world, covering both physical and human geography topics, and fostering an understanding of contemporary global issues and sustainability. * Plan and lead engaging fieldwork activities, enabling students to develop practical geographical skills, including data collection, analysis, and GIS. * Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth and ensure every student achieves their potential in Geography. * Collaborate with a dedicated team of Humanities specialists to share best practices, develop innovative resources, and contribute to the department's strong academic record. As a Geography Teacher, You Offer: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). * A strong honours degree in Geography or a closely related environmental/earth science discipline. * Proven experience and success in teaching Geography at the secondary level, with a strong ability to make the subject relevant and engaging (KS5 and fieldwork leadership experience is desirable). * A genuine passion for geography, environmental issues, and global citizenship, and the ability to convey this enthusiasm to students. * Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills, essential for an effective Geography Teacher.
