Control and Instrumentation Engineer

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of control systems and instrumentation used in critical infrastructure and industrial processes. Role Overview: As an EC&I Engineer, you will be responsible for specifying, designing, and supporting electrical and instrumentation systems. Youll play a key role in ensuring plant safety, operational reliability, and regulatory compliance while working on both new installations and system upgrades. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop control systems, including PLC, SCADA, and DCS architecture Specify and select appropriate instrumentation and control equipment Produce technical documentation: Wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and control philosophies Commission and troubleshoot EC&I systems on-site Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and project specifications Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and project teams to deliver integrated solutions Participate in HAZOP and risk assessments where applicable Requirements: Degree or HNDip in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field 3 years of experience in EC&I engineering Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Schneider) and SCADA/HMI systems Good understanding of electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control panel design Familiarity with ATEX, IEC, or ISA standards Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Willingness to travel to site locations when needed
