Join to apply for the Director, Credit Portfolio Management Distribution role at Standard Chartered Singapore 1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Job Summary The Credit and Portfolio Management (CPM) team focuses on reinforcing origination discipline, reducing profit and loss volatility, and optimising capital and liquidity resources to support the growth of the Corporate and Investing Banking (CIB) and Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) business. Responsibilities Drive efficient secondary distribution of Bank exposures, including developing diversified asset and liquidity distribution options to relieve risk limits and RWA capacity, and mitigate liquidity costs. Lead and collaborate with deal teams on transaction execution, such as CLOs and structured solutions. Coordinate distribution strategies across the bank through the Distribution Forum. Explore new distribution avenues and expand the investor base. Provide transparency on transaction costs, effectiveness, and risks to support decision-making. Key Responsibilities Process Manage CLO hedging activities, including communication with relationship managers and regional teams. Ensure proper governance, reporting, and booking of transactions. People & Talent Collaborate with stakeholders to determine and execute distribution and hedging strategies. Risk Management Maintain compliance with standards in transaction execution, asset distribution, and risk hedging. Monitor regulatory and market changes related to distribution activities. Regulatory & Business Conduct Uphold the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Promote ethical conduct and risk mitigation. Skills and Experience Markets Structuring, Sales & Trading Capital Markets Solutions Client Coverage Balance Sheet Securitisation (BSS) Syndication and Financing Risk (SFR) Risk, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Treasury, Finance, Operations, Technology Ideal Candidate University graduate or Master’s in Finance; Chartered Accountant or CFA advantageous. Minimum 8 years banking experience across Corporate and Investment Banking, including treasury, finance, transaction banking, markets, or risk. Experience in governance and stakeholder interaction. Self-starter with good communication skills. Technical Competencies Knowledge of CCIB product lines, Balance Sheet Management, Process Management, Project Management, Industry Knowledge, and Credit Risk.
