Role Description We are seeking a skilled MLOps Engineer to join our Artificial Intelligence Platforms team. You will support our firmwide GPU-based environments on Kubernetes, crucial for our Generative AI initiatives, enabling experimentation and model fine-tuning. Key Responsibilities Develop scalable, secure, and automated processes for building, training, and fine-tuning ML models Enable business teams to leverage advanced AI/ML infrastructure and tools Develop expertise in distributed GPU computing Write high-quality, production-ready code following CI/CD best practices Maintain comprehensive documentation for engineering and business teams Stay updated with the latest AI/ML frameworks and technologies Basic Qualifications 2 years (Associate) / 1 year (Analyst) experience in Python software development 1 year supporting ML model training and fine-tuning as an MLOps Engineer Experience with JupyterHub/JupyterLab and Kubernetes Proficiency with Unix-based systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) Strong desire to learn about LLMs and latest AI advancements Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments Preferred Qualifications Understanding of the ML Development Lifecycle Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Terraform, CloudFormation Knowledge of container orchestration in cloud environments Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences About Goldman Sachs Founded in 1869, Goldman Sachs is a leading global investment banking, securities, and investment management firm headquartered in New York.
