About Our Role The role is within the Cleared Collateral Management team, part of Margin, Collateral & Valuations Operations (MCVO) within Global Banking & Markets. The department focuses on mitigating counterparty credit risk through active monitoring of derivatives, prime brokerage, securities financing portfolios, and related activities. Responsibilities The responsibilities include daily oversight, control, and risk management for collateral and margin processes for the firm and clients, including: Resolving counterparty risk exposures and managing open items, including cash and securities bookings/recalls, and payment approvals. Proposing and implementing strategic process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risks. Assisting in the development, testing, and implementation of strategic enhancements. Managing daily work allocation and risk assessments for exceptions. Approving reconciliations and adjustments performed by analysts. Training team members to deepen knowledge. Performing daily collateral and margin activities, reviewing and confirming settlement of payments and transfers. Providing end-of-day risk exposure reports. Collaborating with technology teams to resolve exceptions requiring adjustments. Qualifications Candidates should have: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and judgment skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on client service. Effective risk management in daily processing tasks.
