Control System Engineer

Key Responsibilities • Application of technical knowledge and experience to provide innovative engineering solutions to meet a variety of customer requirements •Use of proficiency in appropriate software related to your engineering background • Support senior technical staff in complex transmission, driveline and hybrid control systems activities • Development of embedded control systems and dynamic models in MATLAB / Simulink, including requirements capture, design and verification • Specify and prepare sensors, actuators,instrumentation and data logging requirements • Debugging of software on real-time controllers • Support control testing and data analysis activities • Support and undertake functional vehicle development • Undertake data logging and calibration in MIL/SIL/HIL environment • Present and communicate technical information, clearly and concisely, both internally and to customers • Where appropriate, undertake Project Lead role; leading a small project team to deliver a successful project outcome, from a technical perspective Responsibilities • Generate and maintain relationships with customers at an appropriate level • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with peers and technical leaders • Support the project team in the creation of technical proposals and resourcing estimates • Understands and follows professional standards and technical best practices project management, quality, communication, etc • Actively undertake continued professional development • Participate in activities to share technical knowledge and know-how across the team • English language skills: High working proficiency • Automotive experience • 1-2 years of experience
