Role and Responsibilities: Design and develop Business Intelligence / DWH Projects or Big Data Analytical Platforms (based on Hadoop, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and related technologies) for major projects delivered to Italian clients. Create prototypes & proof-of-concepts to support presales activities and help develop standardized analytic offerings across industries. Share knowledge within an international Big Data / Analytics community. Mentor project team members in technological guidance and career development. Qualifications: For recent graduates: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics. For experienced professionals: 2-10 years of proven experience in Consulting Firms or System Integrators on large and complex projects. Experience in technical presales, solutioning, or business development is appreciated. Deep knowledge of Business Intelligence / DWH, Analytics, and Big Data platforms. Expertise in recent versions of major BI tools such as: DBMS: Oracle, Oracle Big Data Appliance, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, MS SQL Server, SAS, Teradata, IBM Netezza, MySQL, Oracle Exadata, SAP HANA, PostgreSQL, Vertica. Analytics: SAS Enterprise Miner, R, Python, IBM SPSS, Microsoft Cortana, Alteryx. Hadoop and Big Data Architectures: Cloudera, HortonWorks, Hive, Impala, Apache Spark, Kafka, HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB. IoT and Cloud Platforms: Azure, Amazon, IBM Bluemix. Data Integration and Data Quality: Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica, SAS Data Integration, Pentaho, SAP Data Services. Information Delivery: Oracle BI, Microsoft Power BI, SAP BusinessObjects, MicroStrategy, Tableau, QlikView, TIBCO Spotfire. Corporate Performance Management: Oracle Hyperion, SAP BPC. Additional appreciated skills include programming languages like Java, Python, Spark, Docker, Linux, and Shell scripting. Business knowledge in Telco, Media, Banking, Insurance, Energy, Utilities, Government, Manufacturing, and Retail sectors. We require: Strong relational and analytical skills.
