QA Automation Engineer (Mid)

Role Overview: An experienced test engineer with a robust background in Playwright. The ideal candidate will have an experience range of 3–5 years and a profound understanding of high-data-intensive systems. Develop and maintain the automated test scripts and test suites, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in the software products. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Cypress. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and create comprehensive test strategies. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues. Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and coverage. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in test automation and data-intensive systems. Must-have skills: Ability to design and execute manual and automation test cases for financial reports and exhibits. Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for scripting and automation. Knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger. Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright [using JavaScript or TypeScript]) is a plus. Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries.
