RTR Accountant

The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team. Responsibilities Prepare and process manual journal entries Prepare complex calculation for manual journal entries Manage fixed asset transactions Prepare account reconciliations Manage and keep deadlines Perform period-end closing in ERP, including checking account balances, closing periods Responsible for period-end reporting of general ledger/finance information to corporate consolidation system Address inquiries and ad hoc requests from business unit operation finance teams (questions on account balances, etc.) Support internal and external audit by providing timely and accurate information as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance 3 years experience in accounting Proficient in Microsoft Excel Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Working knowledge of GAAP. Strong numeracy and analytical skills. Working knowledge of SAP . Highly organized and detail oriented. Good problem-solving and time management skills. Experience using data retrieval and analysis software (BI, BW) ENGLISH ADVANCED
