Job Description Job Description We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Hartford, Connecticut. In this role, you will provide technical assistance and support for a variety of hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in IT support and a passion for troubleshooting and problem-solving. Responsibilities: • Provide technical support for desktop systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting. • Assist in managing and maintaining Active Directory accounts and permissions. • Configure, install, and troubleshoot Apple devices and Dell technologies. • Monitor and maintain backup systems to ensure data integrity and recovery. • Support Android-based devices and applications to ensure compatibility and functionality. • Administer and troubleshoot Cisco and Citrix technologies for seamless user access. • Implement and oversee configuration management processes to maintain system consistency. • Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner. • Document and update procedures for common technical tasks and resolutions. • Stay updated on the latest technologies and tools to improve support processes.• Proven experience in desktop support or a similar technical role. • Strong knowledge of Android development and device troubleshooting. • Proficiency in Cisco and Citrix technologies. • Familiarity with computer hardware, including Dell devices. • Hands-on experience with Apple products and their configurations. • Understanding of backup technologies and data recovery processes. • Expertise in Active Directory management. • Ability to implement and manage configuration management systems effectively.
