Job Description Job Description This is a hybrid position. The office is located in Wilmington, NC GnP Design Group is a collaborative MEP, FA engineering consulting and design firm, providing services to public and private sector clients. We are seeking experienced MEP engineers (high level designers will be considered) to join our team. If you are passionate about design work, have 5-10 years of experience, are familiar with codes, communicate clearly, and can prioritize workloads… We want to talk with you! This is a full-time, salaried position. Responsibilities and qualifications include, but not limited to: Engineering design experience in variety of market sectors including pharmaceutical, retail, institutional, residential, educational, etc. Closely coordinate, and effectively communicate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and architects. Review and develop design for compliance with applicable codes, adopted engineering standards, and good engineering practices. Extensive familiarity with national code knowledge is a must! Assist in the development and production of construction documents (drawings and specifications) for new buildings, renovations, and additions to existing buildings. Perform all calculations required to design systems, including sizing of source equipment and distribution systems. Ability to design a variety of basic to very complex systems with minimal guidance using AutoCAD. Have the ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design.
