LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Critical Care NP in Hershey, Pennsylvania, 17033! Pay Information $105 to $115 per hour About The Position Block Schedule - Pennsylvania Locums APP Opportunity A health system in Pennsylvania is seeking a locums Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support their Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit. Block scheduling and no call offer excellent work-life balance. Highlights - No call responsibilities - Night shifts, weekends, and holidays included - Open-ended assignment through end of year - High-acuity setting with leading academic health system - Malpractice insurance included Practice Setting - Inpatient, Level 1 Trauma Center - 30-bed cardiovascular ICU - Support from 2 other APPs per shift - Assigned patient rounding - no cross-coverage - Large academic center with intensivist guidance Schedule - 3 shifts per week (13 hours each) - 7am-8pm or 7pm-8am rotations - Includes weekends and major holidays - Block scheduling - group shifts together to allow long stretches off - Assignment runs through December - consistent opportunity Procedures and Cases - VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, cardiac transplant - Arterial and central lines - Swan-Ganz catheter placement - IABP removal - Daily management and post-op care of critically ill cardiac patients Requirements - PA license (no IMLC accepted) - Board Certified in Critical Care - Minimum ACLS and BLS certifications - Prior CVICU experience required - Must be comfortable with high-acuity cardiac procedures Credentialing Requirements - Estimated timeframe: 60-90 days - No temporary privileges available - Facility does not cover licensing costs Travel Accommodations - Nearest airport: Harrisburg International - Travel and lodging provided per policy 1627382EXPTEMP Top Reasons to Choose a Locum Tenens Assignment Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and specialists across various healthcare settings, gaining insights and perspectives that enrich your professional practice.
