Job Description - AVP / Senior Associate, Investment Operations Project Specialist, Global Financial Markets Operations (GFMO), Group Operations (WD73709) Business Function Global Financial Market Operation (GFMO) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability, and innovation. In GFMO, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and aim to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Job Purpose We are looking for a dedicated project specialist to be an integral member of the GFM Ops- Documentation team. The primary responsibility is to transform how GFMO conducts its business. The incumbent will manage projects, drive adoption of GenAI to improve documentation, enhance operational resilience, and mitigate potential risks in Group Operations. Responsibilities Lead Change & Transformation: Direct and manage change initiatives decisively, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal disruption. Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with process changes. Process Optimization & Automation: Identify opportunities to automate manual processes to boost productivity, improve controls, and reduce errors. This includes gathering requirements, reviewing functional designs, participating in UAT, and collaborating with IT and relevant teams. Operational Excellence & Risk Management: Develop and review SOPs and BCPs regularly. Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks proactively. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with business units, external clients, and stakeholders to gather input, ensure alignment, and deliver value. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Provide accurate, timely reports on KPIs, highlight progress, and identify areas for improvement. Documentation & Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive operational manuals, updating them regularly to reflect changes and best practices. Data Requests & Analysis: Handle data-related requests, conduct deep-dive analyses, develop control towers and dashboards, and promote the adoption of control towers for decision-making and learning through experiments. Requirements Preferably a degree in Banking and Finance. Min 5-8 years of banking experience. Experience in back-office functions such as processing, reconciliation, confirmation, etc. Good understanding of the end-to-end transaction lifecycle of OTC products. Proficient in MS Excel; VBA and Python are advantageous. Good understanding of GenAI. Team player who can work independently. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Willing to work across multiple operational locations.
