This position reports to Global Product Manager (Global System Architecture) Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will manage the marketing of ABB’s offerings to targeted market segments and oversee their lifecycle, aligned with market needs and strategic targets. You will be responsible for the long-term profitable growth of an offering, supporting business results by managing each phase of the offer lifecycle: development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability. The work model is: LI-Hybrid. The role contributes to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in Vittuone (MI), focusing on System Architecture, specifically Protection devices. Your main accountabilities include: Leading market intelligence analysis to identify portfolio gaps, competitive positioning, and new market opportunities. Owning technical and market specifications, developing a business plan supporting sustainable growth, and leading customer need and value analysis to maximize portfolio value. Managing the offer lifecycle, analyzing current offers, defining performance metrics, and making decisions on obsolescence to meet market requirements and maximize profitability. Setting targets, monitoring costs, and providing input to operations functions (Supply Chain, Engineering, Production) to enhance competitiveness and profitability. You will join a high-performing team where you can thrive. Qualifications for the role Inclination towards innovation, translating market trends into future portfolio and technical requirements. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Product Management or Product Marketing. Enhanced knowledge of low voltage energy distribution products, applications, and solutions. Strong leadership through influence, problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and results orientation. Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics engineering, or relevant discipline.
