The IT organization is structured around Global & Regional/Local layers, including Enterprise Architecture, Platforms (SAP, Microsoft, ServiceNow, Data), and several Centers of Expertise in Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance & HR. Role Context and Mission The Global IT Senior Manager Data Platform leads the Data & Analytics team, focusing on designing and delivering data solutions, improving existing IT solutions, and managing innovation projects. This role reports to the Global IT Director Enterprise Architecture, Data & Automation Technologies. Key Responsibilities Manage the portfolio of data capabilities supporting business objectives, ensuring project excellence and adherence to data principles. Lead stakeholder communication and decision-making processes. Translate business needs into secure, scalable data solutions, primarily on Microsoft Azure using Databricks and Power BI. Oversee data architecture, operations, security, and monitoring. Collaborate with technology teams on Azure solutions and SAP data integration. Manage budgets and vendors, coordinate internal and external teams for data science models. Qualifications 10 years of experience in similar roles, with a background in architecture solutions and working with third-party integrators. Experience in advanced analytics, AI/ML solutions, and MLOps/DevOps frameworks. Proficiency with Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, Python, R, and SAP analytics platforms is a plus. Experience working in multicultural, international teams. Bachelor’s in Systems Engineering or similar; Master’s preferred. Fluent in English; Italian or other European languages are a plus. Additional Requirements Willingness to travel internationally.
