View more categories View less categories Sector Banking and Financial Services Role Professional Contract Type Permanent Hours Full Time About this role Team Overview This position requires hands-on knowledge of Storage Technologies, including NAS, Data Protection/Backup, and major Cloud Provider storage offerings. Candidates should have a basic understanding of industry Storage Hardware types and interoperability. The individual must be able to collaborate with other platform engineers in their team and globally. The global APG Platform Storage team consists of over 18 members across three regions, supporting a highly available Storage environment hosted on-premises and on the cloud. We are seeking a Storage Cloud Engineer who can support and manage Storage products & Services on the cloud and assist in migrating from legacy, on-premise environments. The team operates 24x7, with shifts covered in Singapore and Delaware. The role involves responding to alerts, cloud migrations, process automation, documentation, knowledge sharing, and troubleshooting. Role Responsibilities Support system operations between cloud and on-premises Storage Infrastructure Administer and support services on AWS and Azure platforms Develop and review processes & automation (AWX, Ansible) Handle storage administration tasks, including monitoring, provisioning, hardware/software issues, and performance monitoring Collaborate effectively with other infrastructure teams Document processes and ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements Experience Knowledge of Storage Technologies such as NFS, CIFS, Data Backups, and recovery Experience with Cloud Environments, especially Azure and AWS; Google Cloud knowledge is a plus Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform or similar) Several years as a Storage Administrator in on-premise and/or cloud environments Familiarity with Storage Technologies like NetApp, Veritas/Cohesity NetBackup, Object Storage (S3, Blob) Understanding of cloud security, disaster recovery, and performance analysis Basic knowledge of Linux, Windows, and Networking; Kubernetes/container experience is desirable Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS) are preferred Qualifications Minimum 4 years of relevant industry experience. Degree preferred. The role involves working on shifts, including weekends, with flexible workdays.
