Divine Resource Solutions is seeking a seasoned Controller to support the Mexico operations of a confidential international organization. This leadership role will oversee all financial reporting and compliance requirements in both the U.S. and Mexico, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in U.S. GAAP and Mexican statutory reporting, a proactive leadership approach, and strong cross-border collaboration skills. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Manage financial reporting in both Mexican Pesos and U.S. Dollars, including currency translation adjustments. Provide clear analysis and guidance on complex transactions and accounting issues. Statutory & Tax Compliance Ensure full compliance with Mexican tax laws and statutory reporting requirements. Oversee the preparation and submission of all local filings and coordinate with tax advisors as needed. Internal Controls & Audit Support Design, implement, and maintain robust internal control procedures. Lead local coordination of annual external audits for U.S. GAAP financials. Team Leadership & Collaboration Mentor and guide the local finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Partner with HR and Sales to support initiatives such as employee benefits, pension administration, and fleet management. Act as the primary liaison with U.S. headquarters for financial reporting and operational updates. Cross-Functional Support Offer financial insight and support to various departments on new projects or strategic decisions. Take initiative in driving projects forward while maintaining strong collaboration with corporate stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. 8 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, ideally in an international setting. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Mexican tax and pension regulations. Advanced analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proven leadership experience in managing and developing accounting teams. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
