Job Description On-Site Management: Oversee daily construction operations, ensuring compliance with project plans, safety regulations, and quality standards. Subcontractor Coordination: Supervise and direct subcontractors to maintain schedules, manage workflows, and address any issues. Safety Oversight: Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and maintain a clean and secure job site. Schedule and Budget: Monitor project schedules and budgets, identifying and addressing potential delays or overruns. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders. Client Interaction: Serve as the primary on-site representative, regularly updating clients and addressing concerns promptly. Problem-Solving: Identify challenges and implement solutions to ensure seamless project execution. Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to NYC building codes, permitting requirements, and company standards. The Successful Applicant 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, preferably within NYC. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects, including retail, office, and mixed-use developments. Familiarity with NYC building codes, permits, and inspection processes. Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, or similar tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
