Title: Principal Data Engineer, DA(MRO), GEC Job ID: 17581 Location: ST Engineering Hub, SG Job Description The key responsibilities include the design, execution, and maintenance of critical data pipelines supporting a myriad of data-related use cases, as well as project management leadership to deliver AI/ML solutions. This position is with the Data Analytics (MRO) team under the Group Engineering Centre (GEC). The candidate is expected to collaborate closely with other team members within DA(MRO), which is a multi-disciplinary team consisting of data scientists, data engineers, and software engineers. Requirements Experience with technical project management, adopting a customer-centric solutioning approach to understand customer pain points and identify key problems to be solved. Experience with data platform architecture design, data modelling, and deploying end-to-end data/AI solutions. Proficient in Python scripting for ETL and data engineering. Flexibility and adaptability to employ appropriate tools to solve the problem at hand, including learning new tools. Proficient in any data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Prefect). Proficient in analysing and visualizing data using a combination of commercial BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) and open-source libraries (e.g. Matplotlib, Seaborn). Proficient in system administration of any RDBMS solutions (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres). Experience with system administration of Windows and Linux systems (baremetal & VM).
