Vice President, Lead Developer (CDN), Consumer Banking Group Technology, Technology & Operations

Business Function Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability, and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Responsibilities End to end ownership on CDN (Content Delivery Network) setup, gathering new requirements, customize product offering and provide solutions. Design, Architecture, and solutions of CDN initiatives and to align with central Architecture teams for review and approval. CDN routing rule configuration, Cache configuration, add/ modify headers, and various security related header configurations. Origin CERT pinning, domain certificate creation and deployments on CDN. Point of contact for DBS contracts for CDN implementation and resolve all technical issues individually or in support with CDN/WAF customer care or professional services. Direct and ensure the successful outcome of projects - coordinate with technical project manager and CDN/WAF solution engineer from CDN vendor. Lead various teams in the planning, execution, implementation, and their successful conclusion for CDN related activities in project. Work closely with stakeholders by setting expectations, managing scope and risk, communicating status to senior management and ensure project meets designed business outcomes and objectives. Own the technical components of CDN integration project including configuration changes, debugging, documentation, testing, and go live support - with involvement of CDN professional services. Partner with CDN (Akamai or Cloudflare) customer support to resolve issues that arise during integrations, or post implementation support. Accurate scope implementation within the timelines for integrations with quality. Support design and development of process automations for DevOps activities. Self-motivated, independent, and able to understand complex systems. Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies within agreed SLA. Review CDN configurations with vendor Professional Services Engineers to ensure quality and accuracy to requirements and Solutions. Strong relationship building skills, with the ability positively influence the actions of others, working as a team player. Requirement Bachelor's degree (or higher), with exposure to computer science, math, engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Hands-on experience in any CDN (Content Delivery Network). Knowledge in Akamai, Cloudflare or any CDN is a must. Working knowledge in CDN architecture, Web application firewall (WAF) concepts and technologies is mandatory. Experienced in CI/CD implementation for CDN deployments using Terraform or any other tool is a must. Certification in Amazon Web Services (AWS) / Google Cloud / Microsoft Azure is an advantage. Strong scripting experience in JavaScript / NodeJS / Java, preferably for serverless implementations is preferred. Knowledge of DevOps tooling like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Ansible, Puppet, terraform is preferred. Must have good knowledge in Project life cycle methodologies (SDLC) and Agile Practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to disseminate information in clear and correct manner to business and technical audiences. Experience with general security technologies (OWASP), processes and concepts. Having certifications such as CISSP is an added advantage. In depth knowledge of OSI Model, in particular the HTTP protocol. Knowledge and experience in network configurations such as TCP/IP subnets, IPv4 vs IPv6, VPN, DNS configurations, DHCP etc. and Network Security Protocols and standards like SSL, TLS, IPsec etc. Experience with UNIX and web-related programming or scripting languages: Perl, PHP, Shell Scripting, J2EE, .NET, C#, JSP, ASP, etc. Knowledge in Server virtualization, VCS clustering concepts. Knowledge in AWS EC2, S3, ELB, ALB, NFS is preferred. Solid understanding of Internet protocol concepts (IP, TCP, HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS).
