Summary This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and high-performing legal team as we expand in the Asia Pacific region. We seek a talented attorney passionate about working on sophisticated contracts, closing deals, and thriving in a collaborative, less hierarchical environment. The role requires dedication to providing outstanding legal service, close coordination with other teams, attention to detail, sound legal and business judgment, and strong interpersonal skills. An interest in learning about Wiz and our work is essential. Location We are focused on candidates based in Japan, Singapore, India, or Australia, supporting fully remote or hybrid work models. What You’ll Do Be a legal partner to Wiz’s revenue teams across Japan, Singapore, India, and Australia, translating legal concepts and risks for business teams. Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of legal agreements; advise teams on contract interpretation and negotiation to accelerate deal closure. Understand customer positions and internal requests, aiming to solve problems from their perspectives. Prioritize workflow effectively, managing a heavy workload and delivering results efficiently. Support ongoing improvements of templates and legal processes. Ensure agreements comply with company policies and risk appetite. What You’ll Bring 6 years of transaction experience, especially in commercial contracts, preferably in-house at tech companies or law firms. Experience negotiating SaaS contracts with customers in Japan, Singapore, India, or Australia. Proficiency in drafting and negotiating contracts and legal language. Knowledge of data privacy laws and handling privacy-related questions in SaaS agreements and DPAs. Licensed to practice law in Japan, Singapore, India, or Australia, with a successful legal track record. A business-friendly approach supporting growth and success. Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate various contracts, including SaaS, professional services, partner agreements, and NDAs. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a global team remotely.
