Caleb Brett provides cargo inspections and analytical assessments for the oil, mining, minerals, and biofuels industries. As a Surveyor, you will be part of the inspection team in Naples, responsible for volume measurements, temperature checks, sampling, calculations, documentation verification, and report writing to ensure an independent, accurate, and comprehensive assessment of the quantity and quality of materials for the client. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting sampling, measurements, and inventories of tanks/shipping vessels on land Communicating and coordinating with terminal staff, transportation personnel, and the client company to facilitate proper execution of assigned tasks Monitoring the availability of supplies needed for the processes and informing coordinators of any requirements Performing routine calibration of equipment, verifications, and operational checks Organizing and coordinating work to ensure services are delivered, and reports and samples are presented correctly, completely, and promptly Verifying and communicating results, and recording data in appropriate supports, both paper and electronic, to ensure validity and traceability Requirements What we are looking for: Technical diploma (nautical or equivalent) Previous experience as a Cargo Surveyor in the petrochemical sector (or similar) Residence in Naples (or nearby) Knowledge of English Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Availability for shift work, irregular hours, and on-call duties Valid driving license Benefits What we offer: CCNL Commerce, full-time Ongoing training and tailored development plans Dynamic and international environment Equal Opportunity Statement At Intertek, we are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse work environment based on a culture of respect and the appreciation of diversity in all its forms.
