SAP UI5/Fiori Senior Consultant

About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP UI5 Fiori Senior Consultant to join our growing SAP practice. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of front-end development using SAPUI5 and Fiori, along with the ability to design, configure, and implement full-scale enterprise solutions across multiple SAP modules. This is a hands-on, client-facing position requiring strong technical knowledge, architectural insight, and proven experience with SAP implementation methodologies, especially SAP Activate. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the development and deployment of SAP Fiori applications across SAP S/4HANA and ECC systems. - Participate in full lifecycle SAP implementations (minimum two end-to-end implementations mandatory), including Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run phases. - Architect and develop custom SAPUI5 applications tailored to customer requirements using modern UI paradigms and responsive design. - Configure and manage the SAP Fiori Launchpad including catalog/groups/roles creation, tile and target mapping. - Integrate standard and custom Fiori applications into the SAP Launchpad and maintain consistency across the user interface. - Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to map business requirements into Fiori app design and extensions. - Work on ticket handling, create release notes, and actively participate in roadmap planning and delivery cycles. - Perform system performance tuning and Fiori application optimization in alignment with security and performance testing standards. - Ensure adherence to SAP development guidelines and best practices throughout the implementation lifecycle. - Conduct code reviews and technical validations for SAP UI5 developments. - Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members. Mandatory Technical Skills : - SAP UI5 Application Development : Deep experience with MVC architecture, custom controls, data binding, and modularization. - SAP Fiori Elements & Smart Controls : Strong command over using standard templates and annotations-based development. - JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSON : Strong proficiency in front-end web development technologies. - SAP Fiori Launchpad Configuration : Setup and customization of roles, catalogs, groups, and target mappings. - OData & RESTful Services : Integration experience with SAP Gateway and custom OData services. - SAP Activate Methodology : Practical understanding and usage during implementations. - JQuery, AJAX : For enhancing application interactions and performance. - SAP Backend Knowledge : Experience working with SAP ECC/ERP modules and their integration with front-end components. - SAP Business Suite/S/4HANA Integration : Hands-on experience integrating UI components with core modules like MM, SD, FI, HR, etc. - Version Control Systems : Git or other source code management tools. - Testing and Debugging : Exposure to performance optimization, security testing (SAST/DAST), and SAP Web IDE/Business Application Studio environments. Preferred Qualifications : - SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP Fiori Application Developer. - Working experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform). - Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines for SAP Fiori. - Hands-on with CAP (Cloud Application Programming) Model is a plus. - Experience with integrating Fiori with third-party APIs and libraries (ref:hirist.tech)
