Job Description

We’re hiring on behalf of a Tier 1 main contractor with a strong global presence. They’re delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally, and their legal team plays a key role in that success. This is a great opportunity to join a trusted, high-performing team in a role that’s primarily focused on transactional (non-contentious) construction work. You’ll be working closely with colleagues across project delivery and commercial functions, supporting everything from contract negotiation through to execution. What you’ll be doing: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC) Advising on procurement strategy and risk Supporting project teams throughout the lifecycle Getting involved in disputes work where needed Helping to refine internal processes and contract templates What we’re looking for: Qualified solicitor with solid construction law experience 2-7 years' PQE Confident working with standard form contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC) Some exposure to disputes work is a bonus Comfortable giving clear, practical advice to commercial stakeholders In-house experience is helpful but not essential Why this role?
